Tensioning Devices

Tensioning devices – such as the Tirvit Wire Tensioning Device – are lightweight devices used for tensioning, pulling and felling purposes when used in conjunction with wire rope. They’re lightweight and easy to handle, while also being highly versatile.

Tension Clamps

Tension clamps – such as the Tractel Tension Clamp – are lightweight, spring-loaded devices used to clamp wire rope into place. They’re commonly used to hold looped wire rope ends in place, allowing the rope to be attached to a fixed point.

Sockets

Sockets – such as the Crosby S501 Open Swage Socket – are termination components that are attached to the ends of wire rope. They’re used to anchor wire rope to a fixed point, offering a more stable and practical alternative to knot-tying.

Wire Rope Lubricants

Wire rope lubricant also allows for easy visual inspection of the ropes, allowing you to spot signs of wear and tear with ease.

Thimbles – such as the Cosby G414 Extra Heavy Wire Rope Thimble – are oval-shaped fixings that are attached to the ends of wire rope. They’re used to protect the strands of the wire rope from fraying, increasing the lifespan of your wire rope.
