Shock loading is strictly prohibited. Always ensure the shackle pin and thumb screws are fully tightened before each lift, and never tighten thumb screws onto the taper of the blade.

 

Maintenance & Certification

To keep your fork mounted hook in safe working condition, weekly inspections are recommended, covering all weld points, fork pockets, thumb screws, and the condition of the swivel hook, safety latch, and shackle. Any damage must be reported and rectified before further use. This product is certified for six months from the date of manufacture, after which it must be re-tested at an approved facility or inspected by a competent person in accordance with HSE guidance.
