Our range of lashing chains allow for a minimum breaking load that stands at four times the working load limit. All lashing chains are offered in a diverse range of sizes, from 7mm all the way up to 22mm.

The clevis eye grab hooks utilised in our load chains meet the Working Load Limit performance requirements of BS EN 1677-1, ensuring direct connection to the chain.

What are lashing chains?

Lashing chains are alloy steel chains featuring a grab hook at each end. They’re used to secure heavy loads in situations where a traditional lashing strap may not be suitable. For example:

• If the load features sharp edges
• If the load is particularly bulky 
• If the load exceeds the Working Load Limit of a traditional lashing strap
